Board of Directors 2025
Holly Lanham - President
Holly J. Lanham is a healthcare researcher at UT Health San Antonio. She received her MBA and PhD from the McCombs School of Business. Holly and her husband, Tadd, live on Wooldridge with their two children. As co-chair of the social committee, Holly is excited to help organize the annual picnic and garage sale and plan additional events to bring neighbors together throughout the year.
Jeff Hart - Governmental Affairs
My wife Patti and I have lived on Hardouin Avenue in Pemberton Heights since 1987. We met while attending the University of Texas and after a short stint in Dallas decided to make Austin our home. I am originally from Orange, Texas and Patti is from Houston. We are committed to the Pemberton Heights neighborhood and one of my goals is to keep it as one of the best neighborhoods in the best city in Texas. We raised our three boys here and over the years I was very involved in youth sports in various capacities. We now have three grandsons who also live very nearby. They keep both of us busy. Patti and I enjoy traveling (especially in Italy) and outdoor activities together, including swimming, biking and jogging and have competed in triathlons. We love to spend time at the beach and generally anywhere on the water. We have been active sailors and competitive offshore racers. Patti is a retired journalist and I am a recovering lawyer. My favorite beverage is a Painkiller on a Caribbean beach.

Thomas Hester - Treasurer
Our family moved to Preston Ave in 2020 and has lived in the area (Brykerwoods) since 2014. The peaceful streets of our neighborhood have been somewhat of a refuge for our growing family (we walk a
lot!) and the source of many friendships and milestones (no training wheels!) over the relatively short time that we have lived here. I graduated from TCU but have become quite fond of the Longhorns as long as they’re not playing my Frogs, and I work as a finance executive in the energy industry.

Rick Crump - Traffic and Safety

Rick is married to Wendy Crump and they have two grown children. Wendy and Rick moved from Friendswood, Tx to Austin, Bryker Wood in 2016. After aquiring 1406 Wooldridge in 2018 they began a significant renovation and expect to complete in January 2019. Rick and Wendy were raised in Houston and attended Sam Houston State University. Rick spent 35 years in the Oil and Chemical industries. He worked for a Russian / German oil trading firm in Houston and Singapore. The past 20 years were dedicated to building Intergulf Corporation. Its primary activities include chemical blending, waste water recycling, refining and non-hazardous waste processing. Rick and Wendy moved to Austin (full – time) shortly after the sale of Intergulf in 2017. Rick now spends most of his time in their commercial real estate business, with assets in Austin and Houston. Rick's favorite adult beverage is Vodka with Topo Chico.

Callie Hester - Membership Chair
My family moved to Preston Avenue, from Brykerwoods, in 2020. We have three kids, two dogs and a very loud house! I attended the University of Texas for my undergraduate degree in 2005 and then headed out west for Law School at Texas Tech. I practiced law here in Austin, working for the State Securities Board until the arrival of my son in 2017. I am currently a retired lawyer turned preschool mom. I love spending time with my family, exploring Austin through their eyes and trying to wrangle the three kids and two dogs to Hartford park on any given weekend.
Mike Stitt - Director
We moved to Pemberton Heights in 2019, and we've been in love with the neighborhood ever since. As an entrepreneur, I bring my experience in marketing, communications, and engagement to the neighborhood board. I'm passionate about fostering a sense of community and making sure our voices are heard.
What I love most about Pemberton Heights is the strong sense of connection among neighbors. There's a genuine warmth here that makes it more than just a place to live. The neighborhood's serene nature, distinct character, and sense of calm right in the heart of Austin are things I cherish. I'm grateful to be part of such a unique community and I'm excited to contribute to its future.
Margaret Williams - Social Co-Chair
Margaret Page Williams lives with her husband Matt, and two kids Caroline and Ford, on Wooldridge Avenue. After graduating from Austin High School and attending Emory University Margaret moved to New York City to work in the art world. There, she worked with the contemporary painter Caio Fonseca, met Matt–then a NYC high school math teacher–and many jobs, apartments and two children later the family of four returned home to Austin. Margaret loves living so close to family, so close to the Pease Trail and so close to Tinys. She also loves seeing her kids at Casis in class alongside the kids of her childhood friends. She's lucky to be a part of the team at Wildsam Field Guides, an Austin-based independent publishing company, while Matt works as an independent consultant specializing in education.
Laurel Kuntz - Traffic and Safety
My husband and I moved to Austin in 2016 from San Francisco, and we have lived in the same home on Harris Boulevard ever since. We now have two kids, one dog, three chickens, and one fish. I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelors in business and psychology and then worked for three years in Washington, D.C. as a business consultant. In 2009, I returned to the student life at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a bachelors in nursing in 2010. I worked as an RN in an adult intensive care unit (ICU) until the arrival of our daughter in 2016 -- just a few weeks after we moved onto Harris Blvd. I now run my own business, The Austin Nurse, providing in-home injections to clients. For me, the highlights of Pemberton include the trees reaching across the streets, riding bikes to Tiny's, playing at Hartford Park, and our kid(s) attending Casis. Most sincerely, I cherish our neighbors and feel a genuine sense of community with the friendships we've made here.

Cory Pomeroy - Director
Hi! I am Cory Pomeroy. My wife Lisa and I have lived on Westover Road in Pemberton Heights since 2011. I am from Nederland, and she is from Denton; we met in Austin. We had each lived in different neighborhoods in central Austin and were drawn to the energetic and family-oriented nature of Pemberton Heights. Lisa and I have a daughter and a son who love to roam its streets, trails, and parks. I am honored to serve on the board of the Pemberton Heights Neighborhood Association, which serves as a platform for residents of the neighborhood to be informed and engaged within the community. I graduated from Texas A&M University and the University of Texas School of Law. I am an attorney and lobbyist in the oil and gas industry.

Stephanie Herndon - Secretary
Hello! I’m Stephanie Herndon. My husband, Chris, and I have lived on Wooldridge Drive in Pemberton Heights since 2016. We spent our undergraduate days driving through this neighborhood as a means to access MoPac from UT campus, so it is a bit serendipitous that 20+ years, 2 kids, and a dog later we would land back in this neighborhood.
We love the vibrant community our small neighborhood has curated over the years and feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful spot so close to “town”. My favorite part of Pemberton Heights are the overarching trees that shade the streets I so often walk on, and that on a nice day, so many neighbors are out and about enjoying our neighborhood, too!

Dawnelle Doughtie - Director
I’m Dawnelle Doughtie, and my husband Lee and I moved to Wooldridge Drive in 2019. We lived in this neighborhood as newlyweds in the early 80’s for several years, and then moved to Northwest Hills for over thirty years. We moved back to Pemberton and absolutely love the history of the neighborhood. Growing up in a farming and ranching community in West Texas, I appreciate the small-town atmosphere that this neighborhood has to offer. After graduating from Texas State University in 1982, I married my husband, a fourth generation Austinite. Both sets of his grandparents lived down the street from each other in Pemberton and Bryker Woods. After teaching school for five years, I started my family. During this time, the first organization I joined in Austin was the Heritage Society. Serving as a board member, I was able to learn about the wonderful history of Austin. I love historic homes, and I particularly love the canopied tree-covered streets, the walkability, and the wonderful people that reside in this neighborhood. I also enjoy being involved in organizations in Austin that help children, particularly The Settlement Home and Helping Hand Home for Children. Lee and I have spent most of our adult lives raising and enjoying our three kids, and now we are empty nesters. I’m thankful to live in such a great neighborhood and am hoping as a board member to help plan events and fun activities for everyone.
